Welcome to William Wheat and Son Limited. A family run gardening business based in Little Aston.
The floristry side of our company started in the late 1940s when ‘Bill’ Wheat (being the local nurseryman) became known for growing quality cut flowers, particularly chrysanthemum and dahlias. It was not long before Bill was being asked to make bouquets, wreaths and eventually more artistic floral designs. Soon his son Brian joined the business, qualified in floristry and together they became members of Interflora - the prestigious floral telegraph association.
Now, more than 50 years later we remain members of Interflora. Every day we send flowers locally nationally and internationally for our customers. Over the years our florists have organised flowers for countless brides, made thousands of bouquets, shared our customers happy and sad times and built up an enviable reputation for quality and service. Such is our reputation that we can count many T.V. and sports personalities among our clientele along with numerous hotels and local businesses.
Optimum flower freshness is assured with three deliveries direct from the Dutch markets every week and additional top up stocks from local suppliers.
